Research objective 4 (RO4) – Food safety
The aim is to put in place strategies for food safety, product innovation, development and dissemination.
RO 4 includes strategy development for product innovation, project development and the dissemination of knowledge in the field of stakeholders in the production chain. From the production through processing, in the pre- and post-harvest sector, aspects are to be treated with stakeholders, economic partners, research institutions and consumer organizations. The aim is to evaluate the potential of an increase in quality and safety of food production.
Hereby, strategies that fit into the sustainably concept of the European Union to increase food quality and safety, climate protection and animal welfare will be developed.
